Art Authenticaton For Alleged Ansel Adams

Art Authenticaton For Alleged Ansel Adams

We are currently seeking the expertise of an Ansel Adams specialist or an expert on black and white film/photography/early film development. Our acquisition specialist recently acquired what appears to be a rather impressively well preserved Ansel Adams photograph.

While we are convinced that the piece in question is certainly old enough to be authentic, we are seeking certainty. As is the way of the world, the value of a piece of art is dramatically increased if there is certification of authenticity. Since none of our team members happen to be an Adams expert, we turn to the public in an attempt to find one within the vicinity of either of our facilities- Colorado or Puerto Rico.

A microscope reveals a strange patterning in an alleged Ansel Adams photograph.

If you happen to know or if you are an actual Ansel Adams authenticator, please do not hesitate to contact us at your earliest availability.

The best way is via email at Victor.Allen@FirstEditionAcquisition.vision

In the meantime, feel free to take a look at some of the photography that we have had done via microscope. Even if you have a guess or would like to weigh in on the print/production/development process used to make this piece, we would like to hear from you. feel free to message us on Facebook or email us directly.

A microscope reveals the tiny tips of pine needles surrounded by an odd patterning on this alleged Ansel Adams artwork.    This piece is currently not for sale and for the protection of everyone involved, including the artwork, it is at neither of our locations, nor is it in the possession of any of our staff, volunteers, partners, or affiliates.
