"Flowering Flamboyan Created On Coral" -A First Edition Original
First Edition Acquisition
This Flamboyan tree (pronounced flahm-boy-ahn) the first in craftsman Bill Bourdon's "Caribbean Collection". Many of these iconic trees were damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Maria and her fierce winds. The remaining remenants of this remarkable red rarity are ready to return to bloom.
Brightening the battered branches of this bold arboreal beacon, are blossoms bathed in red. This sculpture is a reminder of the brilliance, resiliance, and endurance of La Isla del Encanto. Embrace your own enchantment and decorate your domain with this wonderful tree as you wish for warmer weather this winter.
This handmade, original art was conceptualized and constructed by Puerto Rican artisan Bill Bourdon. Proof of perfection is signed beneath the bleached bicarbonate backbone that balaces this botanic bravado. Made of multiple gauged (brown and copper) wire and beaded with (dark red and green) glass seed beads and rests on white coral.
