The piece featured here is called "Strong Silver Flamboyan" and was meticulously crafted by artisan Bill Bourdon in Puerto Rico. This metalic masterpiece was made strong by sterling silver and multiple gauge wire. The faux foliage on the fingers of this fine figurine is made of glass sead beads in varying varieties of green and crimson. The green glass goes great with the base it is mounted on. A light lime color lines the stone in sporatic patterns.

Bill Bourdon's "Caribbean Collection" continues as the third instalment "Strong Silver Flamboyan" signifies the strength of Puerto Rico. After Hurricane Maria he island communities could do little more than look for the silver lining in their day to day living. Here's a tribute to the silver lining of La Isla Del Encanto.
